WhereAbouts has created this award-winning, one-of-a-kind, interactive map in two layers—a physical base map and 50 overlying state puzzle pieces. Our activities involve students as map elements—from mountains and plains to states and water bodies.
- Our educators take K-8 students through a series of fun, grade-appropriate activities.
- Stepping onto the colorful 11' x 14' base map, students become part of the physical geography of the United States. When they add puzzle piece states, students learn location, direction, scale, and distance.
